We are thrilled to announce Neil Pharaoh joining Tactiv’s Board of Directors. With a wealth of experience and a distinguished career spanning various sectors, Neil brings a unique set of skills and perspective to our leadership team.
Neil officially joined the Tactiv board in January 2024, contributing his extensive expertise in policy, marketing, communications, government relations, politics, not-for-profit leadership, advocacy, and stakeholder management. His international outlook and reach make him a valuable asset as we continue to grow and navigate the complexities of today’s business landscape.
We express our thanks to Robert Smith
Neil will be assuming the role previously held by Robert Smith, who has announced his retirement after an incredible 12-year journey with Tactiv. Robert has been an integral part of our organisation since its inception, contributing significantly to our growth and success. Robert has helped shape the community and customer-centric focus that is deeply embedded in Tactiv’s DNA. We’d like to thank Robert for his guidance and dedication.
Neil’s journey
Currently serving as a non-executive director on multiple boards, including Sustainability Victoria and Victorian Registration & Qualifications Authority, Neil has a proven track record of providing strategic vision and fostering sustainable frameworks, models, and partnerships. His past involvement in the Climate Action Network and Akilah Institute for Women in New York showcases his commitment to innovative solutions in the social space, also on an international level.
Neil’s professional journey includes co-founding and directing Tanck, a medium-sized business-for-purpose advisory firm specialising in government engagement and stakeholder management. Additionally, he holds the position of Director of Corporate Affairs for Hireup, one of Australia’s leading registered disability service providers, further demonstrating his dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
A philanthropic focus
His philanthropic and not-for-profit governance experience adds a valuable dimension to Tactiv’s commitment to responsible and purpose-driven business practices. We are confident that Neil’s leadership will contribute greatly to shaping Tactiv’s future and fostering collaboration within the organisation.
Welcome aboard, Neil!
